So delighted with these PJ trousers! These are my first handmade garment since I learned to sew.
- I had to modify a woman’s pattern for a man
- Extend the legs
- Recover from cutting 2 right legs lololol
- Learn to make a folded waistband and drawstring
Sewing is such fun.

I finally managed an invisible horizontal seam! Turns out you need to make it loose. I thought it was just loose for illustration in the explainer videos. But no.

For example I love cutting sewing pattern pieces.
It’s tricky, technical and you get to do all sorts of fun maths things to adjust them.
It’s paper engineering that leads to fabric engineering!
