I may be older, but I’m educated, engaged and opinionated. I’ve been around the block a few times and not afraid to say what I think. My kids think I’m a rockstar so please don’t tell them I’m not! 🐸🐸

I'm confused by the liberals conflating "Israel" with "Jewish people." I've taken severe issue with the Israeli government's behavior for several years. Never once have I blamed the Israeli people or any religion. How can any anti-Trump American not understand that a people are not their government?

Congressman Jared Huffman served a #CupOfJoe that’s undeniably strong.

“If we’re honest about what’s going on, we have a madman in the White House who is running roughshod, who is running the biggest, most corrupt criminal grift in American history out of the White House.”

Pentagon bars press photographers over ‘unflattering’ Hegseth photos Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth’s staff took issue with photos taken in a rare briefing last week and decided to shut out press photographers from two subsequent news conferences.

The Defense Department has barred press photographers from briefings on the Iran war after they published photos of Pete Hegseth that his staff deemed "unflattering," according to two people familiar with the decision who spoke on the condition of anonymity out of fear of retaliation.

Jim Cramer suggests on CNBC that Trump could “bomb Tehran into the Stone Age” until Iran reopens the strait, citing U.S. bombings of North Vietnam in the 1970s. Carl Quintanilla points out to him that Hanoi won that war.

MAGA's rhetoric of western civilizational emergency is so weird. They look at ICE arresting grandmothers and they see the ancient Greeks defeating the Persians or the Franks stopping the Islamic invaders in 732.

Everyone else sees ICE arresting grandmothers.

I love that Trump's toadies are wearing comically large shoes because the boss bought them and they're too chickenshit to mention that he guessed the wrong size.

Dozens of U.S. service members in Kuwait suffered serious injuries, including burns, brain trauma and shrapnel wounds, sources say About 30 U.S. service members remained hospitalized Tuesday after an Iranian drone strike in Kuwait.

Just like 2020 when Trump downplayed over 100 service members with traumatic brain injuries as “headaches”, and downplaying covid deaths, Trump is never honest with the American people about this if he thinks it makes him look bad. Because Trump is all about Trump. www.cbsnews.com/news/strike-...

I know it's not much compared to this war, but we're now also spending $650 million a month just on the *interest* accruing on the tariff refund money that Trump is stalling on paying back.

For the almost 40 years I've been watching politics Republicans have repeatedly and shamelessly told blatant lies, and the press never called them out on it. Until recently, neither did the Dems, which always puzzled me. It's time to call a lie a lie, and a liar a liar, and call it out every time.

A judge just said the Trump administration likely ran unconstitutional immigration policies in Minnesota… then let them keep going. That’s the madness: government breaks the law, court spots it, public pays for the privilege.

Has any man at the very rear of his army *ever* projected such sad main character energy?

It's almost like he wants us to forget he's a draft-dodger who called our soldiers "losers" and "suckers" and plotted illegal wars of the sort he got elected promising to avoid while demanding a peace prize

America Still Has a Mission in the World America’s greatest influence has never been domination. It has been demonstration.

After WWII we could have gone home and left the world to burn.

Instead America rebuilt Europe, defended trade routes, and helped inspire the fall of the Iron Curtain.

Because America has always had a mission.

One we're dangerously close to forgetting.
