Just had another session on my #TTRPG campaign test at lunch. Realizing that I need campaign treasure for dungeon dives. The system is efficient and fun, and players enjoyed the session.

Abilities are a little confusing, so I think more conveyance is needed.

I saw "Misery" last night, base on Stephen King's book.
The scene that hurt me the most is the grill scene.
That hurt my #author soul. Everything about it pissed me off.
I het why the hobbling scene is referenced in media. It "appeals" to more people.
But the grill scene hurts more. #writimg #horror

So, I have a "pop-controversial opinion" on #writing. #showdonttell is basically BS.
Now, if you are completely new to writing, it can be a helpful bit of advice, but once you pass that initial stage between #scene and #exposition, #author s need to choose the right tool for the right job. #advice

Once again, today, the #writing skills will most likely improve. My writing group cycle through members once a week and showcase / add critique to one of our excerpts.

Here we go again. I'm getting business cards in 2 weeks. Then I'm doing a massive skim of my next novel-draft to get a copy to one of my editors.
I had broken it out scene-by-scene, but that experiment hasn't been as helpful as I had hoped.

With the recent success of #helldivers, I think video-game tie-ins are pretty cool and possibly successful.

I've picked up #RPGMaker and I'm looking at starting to make #videogames ( in addition to the #ttrpg I've been working on )

I edited scene 2 today. Had some continuity things to clear up, sentence structure. Overall, I think I did well in the initial draft of this scene.
