We brought Marley to the fabric store. EVERYONE wanted to pet him, but the cutest was the little girl who toddled up to him and went, “Daddy… look, doggie…”
I said “BABY doggie!” Then she reached out and patted him and cooed “baby doggie.” And Marley licked her face. And everyone watching melted.
I’m tired.
I’m so, so tired. Emotionally wrung out. Exhausted.
And it’s only been one day.
The next four years are going to be hell.
100% the same. I spent all day at work on edge.
Trying to edit a novel when you have a velcro cat is an exercise in futility.
