You no idea how stupid people in Hungary can be. There are plenty of examples to find on internet, but only in Hungarian. It’s easy to point people being elitist, the truth is that it’s frustrating that the vote of educated people are neutralized by people with an IQ of zero Kelvin.

It’s not a flaw. It’s designed by purpose. But you are not willing to acknowledge the fact that uneducated and/or brainwashed people decide for others. One can call it democracy, but in case of Hungary and its kind of sorts it’s not.
Living in an autocratic democracy, the doorstep to dictatorship has no bright future to offer. I’m very well aware about te differences between intelligence and education, btw. In our voting system the rural vote is 1,5 times the vote in larger cities, not to speaks about ethnic Hungarians abroad.
My point is that one of the weak points of democracy is how people fall for populist propaganda. And let’s be honest, they are not society’s lightbulbs. Maybe it’s not political correct, but for me it’s annoying to live under the regime of toothless old pensioners on the country side.
Can be. But as I understand the situation is that people with more than elementary are turning away from populist parties, leaving it to undereducated, mostly yes rural and elderly people are voting for Fidesz. My car mechanic is not one of them.
