A US refueling plane has been lost over Iraq.
Never would have happened if not for the hubris and bad judgement of Trump.

This is even dumber and more arrogant than "Iraq will greet us as liberators"
Senator Murphy: "You cannot bomb a nation into submission. You cannot impose regime change from the air. Bombing elementary schools hardens resolve. Trump learned nothing from Iraq and Afghanistan."
Murphy is right, you cannot impose regime change from the air. They can make another Afghanistan

Last week, ICE deported a six year old Deaf child but refused to let him take his hearing aids. This week, Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) traveled to Colombia to return the boy's assistive devices. Republicans on social media are denying it or saying he shouldn't have gone.

Richard Kahn just confirmed what we've suspected for years — Epstein's estate paid off one of Donald Trump's accusers. This isn't a smoking gun. It's a smoking cannon.

I’ll always believe the MAGA regime started the Iran war to distract from Epstein Files and from allegations of the orange felon raping children, I’ll also always believe they purposely bombed a school in Iran killing 200+ people (160+ of them being kids). Endlessly evil.
A striking feature of Trump and his team is: they somehow imagine a world in which they are the only actors, only ones with power, and whether it's Tehran or Minneapolis are surprised when it turns out others do. There are many kinds of power and many nations with power.
The killing of schoolchildren should shock our conscience and cause us to recoil in horror. A nation whose leaders can so easily shrug off the death of children, no matter the cause, is in need of moral repair. There must be accountability and lessons learned from this tragedy. And we must never forget that Iranian children, too, are children of God. 7:08 PM · Mar 12, 2026 · 7,179 Views
Shouldn't be rare to see this said by a US senator
Murphy: I have great sympathy for our soldiers and our military leaders they are being given directions by a senile old man who is losing his mind. And so it's no surprise that this war is going horribly
In Simi Valley, California, masked goons have once again detained a U.S. citizen, this time pulling out an assault rifle and ramming vehicle.
ICE hasn't disappeared; it’s being silenced. Between platform suppression and the fog of war, the truth is getting buried.
The Senate has passed a major housing bill that cracks down on large investors who are buying up single-family homes.
It's a promising first step towards getting Wall Street out of our homes and making housing affordable again.
More rumors are going around Netanyahu is preparing to use nukes against Iran to stop the war. This would be a war crime and a stain the the American people that will never wash off.
@zachwahls.bsky.social, currently a Democratic member of the Iowa Senate, is running for the US Senate, hoping to put Iowa families first.
He joins me to share why his life experiences have shaped how he fights for civil rights, affordable healthcare, and organized labor.

Most states require ID to vote. All require it to register. But under the SAVE act, that’s not enough. Have a driver’s license from the state in which you’re voting? Not enough. Have a Real ID? Only enough in six states. (1/2)

Tell your Senators: Oppose the SAVE Act. The stakes are too high to sit this one out!
“No one gives a sh*t about housing.”
“Affordability is a Democrat scam.”
“If [gas prices] rise, they rise.”
It couldn't be clearer: Trump never cared about lowering the cost of living.
Trump ran on a platform of affordability fueled by populist anger toward the elites. Now he's protecting the Epstein class by failing to release the files and launching a costly war with Iran.
My op-ed in @mercurynews.com on what this means: www.mercurynews.com/2026/03/12/k...
JUST IN: Judge Shah in Illinois has blocked the Trump admin from yanking $600m in public health funds from four blue states, saying it appeared to be a “contrived” and illegal effort to punish them for sanctuary immigration policies storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.us...
Talarico on Trumpworld's "short term pain" talking point: "I'd like them to tell that to the parents of the American troops who have lost their lives. That is not short term pain. That is pain that will last forever ... no one asked for this."
Talarico: "As a former educator, as someone who fought for students & kids in the halls of the Texas Capitol, it makes me sick to my stomach to see our foreign policy take the lives of innocent children in Iran & in the Middle East. It has to end. We need a foreign policy that reflects our values."
The Trump WH is starting to reap what it has sown in terms of screwing over counterparties:
-Iran can't trust a negotiated settlement so why reach one?
-Ds in Congress can't trust Trump to follow the law so why bargain w/him?
-Universities see past deals leading to future shakedowns so why make one?
You can't make deals if everyone knows you reneg on deals.
Talarico: "There's another war in the Middle East. There's a cost of living crisis. There's a secret pedophile ring & no one has been prosecuted. So the people responsible are trying to distract us with the same old culture wars ... what do the American people care more about -- pronouns or prices?"
I kid you not... The same White House that forgot that invading Iran might lead it to close the Strait of Hormuz, is now arguing (through Peter Navarro) that war with Iran is a good idea because it'll prevent Iran from closing the Strait of Hormuz.
Tweet by Thomas van Linge saying it is striking that historians may one day view the Iran war as less thought-out than the Iraq war.
That's what happens when you use a foreign war as a distraction from your problems back home.
DOGE canceled research grants because they mentioned LGBTQ.
The person making the call had no experience reviewing grants and admitted no research informed the decision.
And this is the incompetence making federal funding decisions.

Veteran: Trump promised that there would be no wars. So to get into this war, it's such a fundamental betrayal of one of the core tenets of this movement.
