My interview study recruits online, and we have had *hundreds* of scammers try to sign up this year. It has been a massive pain to the point that I think I am going to write about how we identify them and maintain a research workflow around it without just shutting down recruitment altogether.
Oh no. I just thought about the elapsed time since I last peer reviewed something, so Iβve probably got 10 hours tops until the next request rolls in.
β¦and I just replied all on a listserv. Iβm also officially in the struggle part of the semester.
Based on the number of overnight work emails I woke up to, I think we are officially at the βstruggleβ part of the semester.

Signed up for two writing retreats for 2024 during my semester of teaching leave. Feeling super grateful for the time, space, and funding to write my book but also now see on my calendar that it is time to write the thing π
