In sad news, Masako Ikeda, who's voice was filled with warmth and elegance has passed away. She is perhaps best known as the ultimate anime mother, portraying the mothers of Ranma Saotome, Amuro Ray and Ultraman, as well as her iconic portrayals of Maetel and Reika Ryuzaki.

Her voice was an integral part of what made that series and the movies a masterpiece. She will be missed.
