Sadly, I too suffer from this malady.
2/2 And no need to see candidates get “owned” or “scorched” or “schooled”. I won’t miss all the pundits punditing over who won or lost.
Not sure if this is a hot take or not, but I don’t need debates in future elections. Neither candidate’s arguments convince the other, and I learn nothing from each candidate slinging insults at the other. Instead, give me clear, concise position statements on issues and call it a day.
Whatever weather tracker my nephew’s HS marching band uses to predict when to schedule their outdoor performances is a gazillion times better than any app or network weather predictor -
a god damn gazillion times.
Loved that and just bought it for my daughter.
So did I, kinda caught me by surprise. Another book that really grabbed me was The Vaster Wilds by Lauren Groff.
