OK I got Mame set up and it really isn't an exaggeration to say Neo Turf Masters is a top ten game of all time. Maybe top five

sure but we got shadow squadron out of it
Gobble D. Gleep is Gubble D. Gleep's son
I was looking at a guide but the software it wanted me to use has been updated so the ui is totally different and in every thread I could find that was newer, every reply was just "no use this other software instead!"
I really hate how hard it is to set up mame
yeah fortunately the group I'm playing with now doesn't really like dnd much so we've been swapping through a ton of different systems, I think in the past few years we've played at least a dozen
I agree but I also think this kind of rules lawyering is somewhat encouraged by the way dnd works so it's hard to fault the dm when this is the way the game is written
and people ask why I don't like DnD
I'm glad that the Lunar Remastered release is good but I wish the SCD versions of those games were more available
hmm. I kind of feel like MGS2 should be on here... Bangai-O Spirits is probably the one I could drop, but it's mostly on there to represent the whole Treasure catalog
I could almost get behind this but I know what game you would play on it
thought about it a bit and decided to change things around a bit
hmm at the last minute I swapped Shining Force II for Devil's Crush and I think that was a mistake
this is probably the list for me
pointlessly keeping track of which games from the "wii shop wednesday" song are currently on the switch.
I hate that a) brands are taking over days like may the 4th and March 10th to "celebrate the brand" and b) that people think it's fun and cool and not the most annoying shit in the whole world
people like to bring up some of his bad takes but that's the mark of a true critic, if you can go against the gain sometimes loudly because you truly enjoyed or hated a movie just that much
in case you've never seen it, this is Roger Ebert on The Mummy
I've had a sealed copy sitting on my shelf u played for like a decade because I know it will make me sad
both are fun but it's very clear the differences between the two sides
it is pretty funny that over all the Mario Party Parties with GB West, everyone hates them and the bit is that everyone is miserable. And then when they play it with GB East, everyone just engages with the game as it is and has a good time
I don't dislike the remake but you are 100% right on why it's worse. I've often said the original is like clockwork, all the parts of the combat slot together amazingly to make it a game about very limited movement and crowd control, and the remake just loses that in the translation
side note, this podcast has the best website I've ever seen for a podcast. Like oh, all the episodes are right there on order??
it's kind of funny that when ndcube started making the Mario party games, they did a totally different style that reviewed well but the fans hated and so with super they basically made a hybrid of their style with the old Hudson style
yeah that's exactly it, it's a great game but it just can't compare to the original
finished FFXIII last night, picking Shining Force III back up, basically at the final battle
beat FFXIII last night! Really enjoyed the combat for the most part, story wasn't the most amazing but I liked the characters
like straight up by the end of chapter 10 it makes no sense that the party wouldn't just like. Go home
at least they never did the bullshit of
*hero 1* "it's a trap...so what do we do?"
*hero 2, smiling devilishly* "...we spring the trap"
one of my pet peeves in fiction is when the protagonists become aware that something is a trap, and instead of coming up with a clever way to subvert the trap, they just walk into the trap with no plan and do exactly what the bad guys want. And that's kind of the entire plot of FFXIII
