That's quite the opposite: there's a few things in the plug-in that are not in the online version 😅 We didn't let the computational intensive filters for the web service, to avoid our server to heat to much !

Work in progress on my G'MIC experiment that try to simulate marker drawing…
I progress slowly but nicely, and I must say, the results are looking pretty cool to me already!
Still tweaking the behavior of strokes and ink diffusion, but it's getting there 🙂

Tonight, I'm experimenting with a G'MIC script, trying to simulate a kind of Marker Sketch.

For Windows users: New pre-release of the G’MIC-Qt plug-in (v.3.7.0_pre) is available from our download page.
It's *not* the final 3.7 release of but it brings compatibility with GIMP 3.0.8, fixing the issue Windows users experienced after updating GIMP from 3.0.6 to 3.0.8.

The error is related to the fact the plug-in is not allowed to download this file automatically (for whatever reason, idk). You can still dl the file and copy it in the G'MIC resources folder (whose path depends on the OS you use).

New G’MIC command: ▶️ random_patches ◀️ generates synthetic thumbnails with procedural geometric content (polygons, textures, colored backgrounds).
Primarily designed for training neural networks (denoising, super-resolution…), and - unexpectedly - producing some playful, quite artistic visuals too 🤩
