Nothing surprising there. 7's era *was* generally fantastic. Got cancelled right when the show was at its best.
JAMIE: Well it's simple isn't it? All we've got to do is dig a tunnel through from here to the borehole and catch the seed device thing on it's way down. Well, it was just an idea.
DOCTOR: But Jamie, it's a brilliant idea! It's so simple only you could have thought of it.
JAMIE: Oh. Eh?
Same with mine, but later on, I went back and watched the rest. That's really 2's most definitive TARDIS team, too.
2 and Jamie had such chemistry, it's really easy to see why they get shipped, especially with the holding hands scene in Tomb of the Cybermen...
Well, the second Doctor's last TARDIS team of his era was him, Jamie who is charming and lovable & often dense, & Zoe, who was an astrophysist with an eidetic memory as well as having a genius level intelligence comparable to the Doctors own.
Kind of a woke TARDIS team, really. Zoe's great.
They make up for it by having a robot dog later...
Seeds of Doom
Especially since I still haven't read it yet.
I will eventually, but I haven't read half the plot threads it looks like it ties up yet, so I'm waiting a bit.
(VNA-wise, so far, I've read from Nightshade through to Lucifer Rising, Human Nature, Original Sin, and "Oh No It Isn't!"...)
Well, Wesley was very much channeling Doctor vibes last time I saw him in Star Trek, with that whole business with the Loom...
A fair amount changed as far as reoccurring elements of Star Trek Prodigy when you get to Season 2 from Season 1. Completely different ship, for example.
I'd personally really like some more of the things we were doing with Prodigy.
Some more of Wesley with Time Traveling shenanigans would be welcome.
And I'm probably far too curious about the alternate universe where Tuvix is the captain of Voyager...
Well, I'm thinking the Autons, personally...
Peter Davison himself *also* appeared in the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy TV Series!
Definitely. An author whose books regularly fight amongst themselves for which is my favorite. It'll be Small Gods, then Going Postal, then I'll be reading Monstrous Regiment, get to Polly and Jackrum discussing plans after the war, and it's changed again...
Well, for authors, I can go with Terry Pratchett, who is English.
Scottish, actually, but also the UK. I felt he should have used his natural Scottish accent when playing 14, but we didn't quite get that.
And Michael Sheen. From Wales, but still part of the UK.
In fact, seems like just posting the above post got me added to another one.
IIRC, 1-4 were all "Doctor Who", 5-8 were "the Doctor", 9 was "Doctor Who", and 10+ were "the Doctor".
And 5 + 10 were both "Doctor Who" for their regeneration. (For 8, I'm going by "Night of the Doctor".)
There may be some variance due to multi-Doctor episodes and such....
Honestly, the blocklists you get on bluesky for being even mildly positive towards AI are rather ridiculous...
Yeah, she does travel with Ace for a while, just by Human Nature, she was doing some traveling without Ace. Checking, that audio is between VNA 27 & 28, while Human Nature is 38.
I actually started reading the VNA's because I wanted to start reading things with Bernice, & it's been interesting.

Her cat is actually originally from Human Nature!
No Problem. Finished Original Sin and it was great!
Bernice originated in the VNA "Love and War", but she also gets reintroduced without the Doctor in "Oh No It Isn't!" which is fun & has a Big Finish version w/ Nicholas Courtney voicing her cat. (They did some Doctor-less books because of rights.)
I approve!
For things I've been reading recently, Paul Cornell's "Human Nature" was the book the tv episode was based on, with 7 & Bernice Summerfield. Enjoyed it & like it better then the episodes.
I'm now reading the next book, Andy Lane's "Original Sin", which has been very good & has 2 new companions.
