I do like the dialogue in Secret Agent (I don't think subs quite get how funny but realistic it is in Portuguese) a lot and I do think it's very well cast....it's so good to watch a movie where ppl don't look like the same 5 American faces that go to the same plastic surgeon

Secret Agent probably has a more alluring visual language than I'm Still here but they are both movies about the right to memory in totalitarian times, but Salles was smart enough to know that Torres perfomance basically holds the movie together whereas Moura's is a bit wasted in meandering

wagner moura being endlessly charming in press tours is probably more oscar worthy than his perfomance in secret agent (which to me is not as good as bacurau as a movie and really gets hurt by the fact that it basically has the same themes as ainda estou aqui)
