Uhh...preorder some Weird horror books? Or maybe stock up on some of our titles that your bookshelves are desperately missing?
I dunno, we didn't really think this one out ahead of time.

While I generally dislike, or even hate, most things about spring, the sudden return of birdsong is lovely.
Fanart you say? Then I suggest Alolan Marowak.

Ah! I know covers tend to be different, but it's rare for the title to change. Oh well, I guess I just have two copies now (not my first duplicate novel). Better than the time I accidently bought a German copy of a King novel XD
My brain stalled out thinking about all the projects I'm actually juggling right now XD Most of them are writings in various stages, but one is some osprey art for my dad.
One of my short stories from last year is on sale! And it comes with a bunch of other great short stories from cool people!
Deer with fused antlers
Malignant Circlet
the "which do you like better, these three sentences from AI or from a classic" reminds me of the Pepsi Challenge. People genuinely did prefer Pepsi for one sip, because it's sweeter. But they strongly strongly prefer Coke overall, because no one wants sickly sweet for an entire bottle
The cover is a single lane road through a forest at night with a car's headlights coming toward the viewer. The title is bright pink.
#NowReading Talking to Strangers by Fiona Barton
Not that The Hiding Place/The Taking of Annie Thorne isn't good enough for a reread, it's just literally the most recent Tudor book I've read, and I still remember a lot of it.
I have just realized that I HAVE read this book. It got renamed THE HIDING PLACE.
The cover is red, with a darkness in the upper left corner. In the center is a raggedly torn bit of newspaper in the shape of a girl, with part of a headline legible: Mother Murders. A small dripping bit of blood mars the paper.

I thought I had read all her books, but it turns out that this one slipped the net.

I got to see it in theaters. I was a bit nervous about it during the opening bits, but once it reaches a certain point, it's awesome.
I finally finished posting all my favourite photos from my trip to Tanzania last year, so if you want to see them, now is the time before I begin burying them under my more mundane photos.

Thank you!
Wait a minute... *zooms in* I'm beside @afsulli.bsky.social's THE MARIGOLD! Extra cool being beside A) a book I have on my own shelves and B) a fellow Toronto horror novelist!
Ahhhhh, look at them being in a real store!
I really want to go to @littleghostsbooks.bsky.social to sign whatever of mine they have in stock, and spend the gift card I was given for my birthday on fellow @tenebrouspress.bsky.social books, but this lousy illness continues to persist! Let me be free!

The cover is primary black with the author's name in red dominating the upper portion, and the title smaller on the bottom. Between them is the eye section of a man's face in silver, the eyes themselves golden.
#NowReading The Hellfire Club by Peter Straub
It may surprise some of you to learn that this will be my first time reading a solo Straub novel (this one is also another post office find)
The first page of the book, signed by Cargill and listing it as copy 929 out of 1000.
I didn't realize until I'd started reading it that it's signed by @crobertcargill.bsky.social! I also like its number, 929.
2 copies of Frost Zone Stories paperback book upright showing back and front cover, 2 more copies places flat before them.
