Might still happen with this guy in the dugout
Might still happen with this guy in the dugout
I’ve felt like this since November
Thank you @windycoys.bsky.social for always, without fail, finding some way to be positive despite the scenario.
Your principle is sensible but we lack certain player profiles at all.
If we fail to get Wharton, get Hayden Hackney. Or we have the same problem next season
I think three players of that standard and profile are necessary but not sufficient. We also need a world class GK, top level LB, another CF and backup passing CM
The major issue for me with VAR isn’t whether it reduces errors. It’s that I can never spontaneously celebrate a goal.
That’s the good bit of football and now we don’t have it anymore.
I will admit I too found GB News hilarious at first.
Agree that Biss is a must have in all league games (shocking he’s not in the CL squad). Gray I like in CM as he’s the closest we’ve got to someone who can pass forward from deep. But Sarr is fine too.
Agreed. I’d rather keep Palinha or add Gray to the CB line. Dragusin was at fault for 2 goals and at least one more chance for them. He needs a fresh start
I'll never stop loving Dele. What a player and what a man.
it didn't look like a foul to me, but that lot know how to cheat.
I agree with you that RKM's 'push' was softer than Ekitike's on Romero earlier this season. However, and I know I should go and check but I really can't bring myself to, I think our xG was just as miserable today as any TF abomination. Plus we cannot get out. We cannot build from the back at all
The conclusion is as you say, there is no magic manager.
We’re in extreme trouble.
The players are not good enough and ENIC have bungled every transfer window for 10 years straight pretty much
Let’s pray we somehow avoid relegation
It will end when lt ends.
But it might end in a horrible fireball
I live fairly near Preston. Looking forward to next season
Based on the admittedly tiny sample size of one game, I kind of get why they thought sacking Frank was pointless.
If today’s fare had been served up by TF, we would’ve all piled in on him and how bad a coach he is.
The squad is a poorly assembled mish mash with some serious gaps and injuries
Entrance via an alternative route too
I remain unconvinced you’re right
Let’s see
Last season when we played Brentford I saw all the towels on the side of the pitch and thought right then “not this guy as the next coach”
Embarrassing
Indeed. Mildly more hopeful having consumed some Tudor literature. But still very afraid of relegation
Is basic competence what this is?
This was my gut reaction
Very very worried.
It’s now almost purely on the players to get themselves out of this mess
I would’ve much preferred him.
Progressive football. A hopeful candidate
Tudor is more muck
If you look at who’s fit I think this is our only option anyway
Searching for hopium.
Thank you for your service
Are we really about to appoint Igor Tudor???
100% this
Lucky to land on Jol Redders and Poch - as well as Ange to a degree
I think when you zoom out far enough then it looks like consistent upward trajectory.
But I believe the primary reason for that is the correlation with huge growth in EPL profits and completely lucking out with Jol Redknapp and Poch. They don’t know anything about football at the senior level
Or if they want to discipline players for breaching timekeeping “rules”: 1. Ensure the rules are clearly communicated, repeated and understood by all. 2. Measures and judgment are applied equally and equitably 3. leaders understand all personal context around why someone might have been late
Oh god
This feels like the Europa league final win all over again.
The club won’t just let me enjoy this for a few days will they? They’re going to ruin it by “taking decisive action”
