5/ In 1930, exploring parties invaded Greenland, one of them German, the other British.

4/ In 1926, Greenland was invaded by a scientist with an interest in weather.

3/ In 1922, the invader was radio.

2/ In 1911, imperialist Theodore Roosevelt planned to invade Greenland as well ... in search of big game.

Invading Greenland, it turns out, has a long history.
