The water doesn't exist. But the aspirations and visions persist. Read this import work from Mr. Temple. Decide for yourself.

Today, lawmakers in Nevada are going to vote on a resolution that supports public land sales and more sprawl in Vegas.

AJR10 has had no hearings and no meaningful debate.

Why would Dems w/ deep ties to the real estate industry want to deprive the public?

In Memoriam: Simeon Herskovits, Our Water Warrior - Great Basin Water Network Simeon Herskovits, GBWN's long-time attorney, passed away last week at the age of 61. His work transformed the application of western water law and the public interest in the nation's driest state.

No water attorney had a greater role in protecting the deserts of Nevada than Simeon Herskovits, who spent his career harnessing the public interest in ways that brought communities together for the benefit of plant, animal and human life.

Democrats and Republicans love the idea of selling off public lands in Nevada. This is not a partisan issue. Just look at what the congressional delegation has done to Vegas since the late 1990s. If Ds in the Legislature could oblige the governor they would. But the folks DC take care of it.
