We've reached the Nazi part of Trump's speech: "The Somali pirates who ransacked Minnesota remind us that there are large parts of the world where corruption and lawlessness are the norm, not the exception. Importing these cultures through unrestricted immigration ... "

Having a mayor of a town named "Wesley Dingus" who is caught performing lewd acts seems pretty on-brand for Ohio.
Ari Drennen @AriDrennen Follow The high trust neighborhoods that MAGA yearns for exist all over America, and they're all like D+40 nxthompson A @nxthompson β’22h An extraordinary paragraph. buff.ly/uH5ykhX The secret fear of the morally depraved is that virtue is actually common, and that they're the ones who are alone. In Minnesota, all of the ideological cornerstones of MAGA have been proved false at once. Minnesotans, not the armed thugs of ICE and the Border Patrol, are brave. Minnesotans have shown that their community is socially cohesivebecause of its diversity and not in spite of it. Minnesotans have found and loved one another in a world atomized by social media, where empty men have tried to fill their lonely soul with lies about their own inherent superiority. Minnesotans have preserved everything worthwhile about "Western civilization," while armed brutes try to tear it down by force.
This is so spot on

It's kind of silly that you can fail a unit test to get ahead in Duolingo just based on forgetting a noun here or there. These are "como se dice" questions, stuff you'd just ask if you forgot it in common conversation, so shamelessly googling during these, at least for some things
First time using LinkedIn recruiter stuff, I didn't know it appended my profile title (which is quite silly) to each message...so embarrassing! I guess at least people know I'm not really into maintaining a particularly professional appearance.
And.... This is why we go to Grocery Outlet
New in Pancake Theory: I'm adding my own pictures as I run each breakfast recipe. Also, now you can fix the prep and cook times when you forget to complete the recipe (coming soon: notification to remind you to complete the recipe)

The right way to get into the Epstein files.
I'm getting a captcha error in the console when trying to login, so can't comment, but there's some confusion in the thread and I think it would have been worth noting in the article that many Marketplace plans have OOPM's that exceed the max for an IRS HDHP, and thus aren't eligible for an HSA.

Oh my god imagine if you were a sixth grader who domed Epstein in Call of Duty and he just starts screaming about how heβs going to have Mossad wipe out your entire family
Workin' on getting Civilization 2 up and running again. Tough choice!
Getting snowed in for days made me forget a lot of stuff when I finally left home, like that my portable charger is in the basement because I used it for the very important job of charging a PlayStation controller

Thinking of little games to make quickly in Replit. Maybe a Tetris-alike with some gimmick. I know we've got sand-tris or whatever... what about water-tris, where random pieces are actually liquid and lose their shape and flow down once they hit the ground?
If I'm really gonna get into AI, this is probably the way! Did up a little slice of Phantasy Star in an Expo app in Replit. Less than a year ago, I vibe-coded Swamp Cave from Dragon Quest, didn't get nearly this far. AI has at least progressed from 1986 Famicom to 1987 Sega Mark III!
TIL you can "get gnomed" when using Linux.
A combination of installed packages can cause GNOME desktop to spontaneously appear on your computer.
There's even a whole subreddit dedicated to it.

Kind of wild that this was the release order of the first of the major classic RPG's in the US:
1. Phantasy Star
2. Dragon Quest
3. Phantasy Star II (!)
4. Final Fantasy
Sega was going HARD.
The tables turn later on when PS4 is released between FF6 and Chrono Trigger.
Danish parliamentarian Rasmus Jarlov speaking to MS NOW on Stephen Miller comments regarding Greenland: "I hope heβs kept away from young women, because thatβs the mentality of a rapist. You canβt defend yourself, so Iβm going to take you. Thatβs basically what heβs saying."
