Bad Genius was a fun film, shot like a heist movie (cheating in exams) and loosely based on real stuff but the main takeaway is that rich people, even rich kids will try and take advantage of people who actually have talent and actually deserve the recognition, ending is pretty good too

I haven't mentioned it in forever but I have to talk about one of my favorite lost art mediums, Korea movie paintings!!!
The very first movie theater in Korea is still up (dunno if it works but its there) and all these murals surround the building. I love them passionately.
Mubi is now streaming No Other Choice (UK) so I have an excuse to make friends watch that now

I think I'm starting to realise Kurosawa films are just fun films in general, I get what high and low is going for despite being very straight forward, but it kept me engage the whole way through
