4 basic rules of economics:

Not all education is schooling. Not even all compulsory education is schooling. And schooling used to be useful. It's just that it has outlived it's usefulness. Also, fuck the USSR, they might have had good education, doesn't make up for it being a poor excuse of a dotp attempt.

I am very very strongly in favor of strongly funding education. If I were in power, I would immediately double all education-related budgets as a day one measure. It's just that schools in the modern day are evidently anti-educating facilities. They had their usefulness. They do no longer.

Bedtime is auth is overstated. But abolishing school is communism 101. It's as much to be condemned as landed property.
