Some professors at the University of St. Thomas are doing a research project on the effects of the ICE occupation on Twin Cities parents. They're looking for parents who are US citizens, who live in the Twin Cities metro area, and who have kids ages 5-10.

Not to attempt Discourse, but 3-item lists are not proof of AI writing. Human writers just LOVE 3-item lists, so AI mimics it. Long before LLMs, I was highlighting two or three or more lists per paragraph and begging writers to resist the urge. Same goes for em dashes. It’s us. The problem is us.

It should never have been retyped! Once added, it’s an easy error to miss because title pages are created late in the process, with fewer cross-checks, and people assume templated text is correct. The last two books I proofread still had placeholder title pages at the penultimate stage…
