*puts on professional critic hat* There are so many reasons Zang Hai was the c-drama of the year but one of the least talked-about imo is that it had one of the most phenomenal battle sequences I've ever seen? 2 eps, clearly modeled after Two Towers, grounded in complex character dynamics, riveting.
My heart won the fight with my brain and clicked faster...

To cut a long story short - while #Zanghai is the superior production (in terms of itβs cinematography, itβs structured storytelling, Xiao Zhanβs acting, & some iconic scenes), I just loved the characters more in #LegendoftheFemaleGeneral π₯°
