The weather is back to front. I just left blue skies in Melbourne and have landed in torrential rain on the Gold Coast. Wtf haha 😂

I love the comedy employed by the Yarra Trams staff while they get us to Albert Park in the mornings. Yesterday it was “first class is at the front, there will be champagne on arrival”. Today it was “this team is for Red Bull fans only” 😂 #AustralianGP 🇦🇺

Amazing line from Mario Andretti just now in pitlane. When asked what is the secret to his eternal youth, he said that racing is his life and “it will be like this until they put me in a box. And that box better have wheels on it” #AustralianGP 🇦🇺

The potential good news would be that as we go along, it might only require an adjustment in the regs in terms of “more of this” and “less of that” until we get the balance right so they can race each other. Or am I just being an optimist? :)

In terms of the actual *racing* you mean? Yes I am. My prediction is for a tedious race. And I’m saying that because I want to be proven 100% wrong and roundly mocked afterwards :)

To whom it concerns, I *can* tell when a person is pretending to be interested because they think I can get them into a Grand Prix or onto a yacht for free, but if you’re gonna do it then don’t ask questions like “when is the next race?” or “who is leading the championship?”

The other part of it is that it's back-to-back race weekends, which is very busy. I worked about 4 hours on the overnight flight to London, did 3 more hours at Heathrow, then another 4-5 hours on the London-Doha flight, and I *still* wasn't finished when I got here at 5:00am on Wednesday morning.

I can’t even begin to tell you how jet lagged I feel after moving forward 11 time zones from the US west coast. Which means there are a LOT of very exhausted personnel in the F1 pit and paddock this weekend. Anyone who says it doesn’t affect them is lying #QatarGP 🇶🇦
