I was on the Harbor Police & everyone was supposed to be on duty & they couldn't get hold of me. They were quite mad til I told them I was stuck out of town.

I saw the ship on the beach from U.S. 90. I sat it out a hundred miles up in rural MS. Got out the next day when all the farmers with chainsaws cleared the roads. On I-59 I saw whole forests of pine trees snapped off from tornadoes. Glad my uncle called the nite before & said to not leave.

I have actually been chastised for not being a Book Reader.

So, I can't own a Pet Iguana (A VEGETARIAN Reptile), but they are running wild everywhere and are in fact Naturalized here. I have seen some beautiful very large & colorful pet iguanas in SoFlo in the past. At this point it is stupid to prevent ownership of Iguanas when they are now part of Florida

I finally saw this movie 80 years after it was made.

I came to the Big Easy in 1967, stayed off & on til 1982. Hooked up with both my long-time companions there & both also spent time in South Florida. Brenda & Jim never met, but I have a N.O. memory of both when I visited in 2007.
