There you go! Pretty tough one isn't it?
There you go! Pretty tough one isn't it?
Not the move!
Another excellent coaching session, another very cool position. White to play! #chesspunks
But thei were all of them deceivid for anothir environment-killinge plagiarism machyne was made
Try it!
It's white to play. I don't have a PGN
It's a puzzle
The key idea to find the correct threat was to ask "what if I had two moves?"
Just so! I found it a really tough one, I spent the whole hourπ
From today's coaching session, I found this a tough one. White to play! #chesspunks
Bullet is a new one, but it makes sense. Turbo ultra pattern onslaught
Hey #chesspunkz. If you've been doing well in rapid, but struggling like all hell in blitz: How did you conquer that, what did you do, what clicked, and so on?
I'm a Chessable pro until 2029 and am heavily invested in the platform. I hesitated to recommend the platform to new players before, now I definitely won't. The value proposition is not there unless you intend to shell out big. Chessly, or just YouTube, is the obvious choice for 98% of players now.
It's a solid lesson in how corporate arrogance and subjection to the logic of capital growth go hand in hand.
They paywalled all previously free content between a subscription, and made all discounts worse to non-subscribing users while essentially no better for subscribing users.
Chessable pricing was already extreme enough to warrant a 2% conversion from S&S to the full course. Now they expect you to pay to even use the platform at all. They couldn't make a better case for scrapping Chessable for Chessly for the other 98% if they tried.
All of them
What's up with @chessable.com doing what it can to avoid getting new customers #chesspunks
I'd rather see more rapid and blitz where I have more familiarity but prep matters a bit less, than a new position I don't understand every single time.
In my Steps Method series I recorded a third video on how to analyze a position. It is a position from Step 3+ and the video is for players rated 1000-1500.
Just one position to practice the process:
- Orientation
- Calculation and Evaluation
- Verification

@chessvibes.bsky.social has this in their training program. I haven't seen it myself though chessvibes.net?gad_source=1...
I think if you buy and use video on chessable, chessly is worth checking out
So Carlsen is is back π₯΄π« #chesspunks

Obviously, if you throw all your online games, you're not going to want to use it as your main performance indicator. Most adult improvers of the kind that care about their online ratings don't, though. Whether you throw or don't, however, it's certainly indicative of your online performance.
Plot twist βοΈ He doesn't just think so, he actually is!
:')
That is NICE!
That's just not true
2100 lichess and 1900 chess.com seems to reflect a FIDE of 1700 pretty well. They're all real, they're just not directly comparable; they're on different scales.
I've wanted chessable to make something like this to traverse repertoires, it just seems obvious. As if they ever will though π
