Experienced 1st bus breakdown - WITH students. Was pleasantly surprised at how dispatch, fellow driver who rescued them in his bus and the Michelin On Call mobile repair were in supporting me. Very happy to be part of a professional team that works together in the right ways.

Its snowy and icy af, be careful. And the bus tires and traction setting works but still makes it harder to stop and can slide. So ffs give bigger vehicles and buses some room and patience. #busdriverproblems
This morning showed me just how important my job really is. I found my first sleeping child still on the bus. I check at the school after AM drop off, so she still got to school fine. No harm no foul, but that was a shock to the system to see a child out cold in one of the seats. #busdriverproblems

I survived Friday the 13th on a school bus with about 30 children.
To the memes that ask if you had holy war on your 2023 bingo card: I kind of figure it's always possible because so much of my lifetime they've been killing each other and I wish people would just let people live and be. I don't pick sides anymore and feel like it's senseless murder and destruction.
Also Tim Horton's workers busting their ass and got thru the lineup in amazing efficiency. They deserve respect and probably better pay. I miss my McDonald's crew though. They closed mine for remodeling. 🫡
