I dunno, I love the opening to Revenge of the Sith. Just an absolute melee of capital ships blasting each other at point blank whilst smaller ships dart around causing mischief and mayhem.
That and Rogue Ones space battle always brings a tear to my eye.

Yeah, it is a little concerning how much of it has become implanted into day to day life.
At the same time, it's nice we have the real world equivalent of that TNG episode where they only spoke referring to some old story.

You can enjoy hard games. You just don't need to be a sweat lord. About a decade ago the group of friends I was in were very, intense in what they played. Raging, screaming, swearing, the whole song and dance.
It genuinely made me not want to play any games with them.

I love playing World of Warships against bots. The first few minutes are just so calm, watching the waves lap against your ships hull. They even put in animations of dolphins swimming alongside or seagulls following your shop.

Playing hard games getting frustrated and taking a break is good way to play other games and develop new hobbies.

I mean this 100% unironically. Play something easier or more relaxing. Read a book. Watch some TV to cool down.

Monocles will pop! Pearls will be clutched! A swooning day, a chicken a day!

The WSJ is agog at so many ready to eat chickens in a shop, that aren't in a can in its own jelly/juices.

These people are clearly from the 50s when a whole chicken was a luxurious expense from the butchers. Otherwise it was lamb necks, offal and possibly chicken that was actually rabbit.

(so far today I've had two ekgs, an ultrasound to find my arteries, a ct scan, several bags of saline, two bags of iv paracetamol to help with the pain, a bunch of nutrients and things to reduce calcium and potassium levels. And soon insulin)

Hi everyone , it's Glaz. Thank you all so much for the well wishes , it's been very overwhelming. I'm sorry that I haven't had the time to respond to everyone yet. I am doing a lot better than this morning, that's for sure but it's looking very likely that I'm going to be in the hospital for 48 hrs

Likely last update of the night. Got more blood tests to do, had my surgery consult. They want to install a tube down my nose to my stomach and have a catheter. Sounds like they really want to push surgery and that I might spend time in the icu depending on how my blood levels are

Hey, critters. Hiro here. I'm Glaz's roommate. Glaz collapsed and temporarily lost consciousness in the apartment early this morning. I attended to him, got paramedics around, and we've taken him to A&E at a local hospital. He's conscious and aware, but in a lot of pain and discomfort, and isn't in a good shape to read/reply to messages. I'm with Glaz as I type, and can relay verbally. Hospital staff are treating him as they work towards a diagnosis. Rest assured he is in good hands. Please send your best wishes to the large lad as he's tended to. 💚 I'll provide any updates here if needed.
