Today is tomorrow's yesterday.

I'm in the same boat. I think about this a lot.

A lot of people say the same about coming down from the trees in the first place. And some said that even the trees had been a bad move, and that no one should ever have left the oceans.

That definitely woke me up!

Silver lining: Netflix just got scammed out of $600 million.

Reality has been in heated competition with @theonion.com for a long time over who can come up with the wildest headlines. Reality is winning.

And, just for the record, it hasn't actually been true for the majority of those 30 years. I have no idea if it's become true in the past few years.

I've been hearing "Nobody reads anymore!" for the past 30 years, and it's always coupled with the sentiment that people who read are superior.

There's no such thing as civil bigotry.

That expression is the least insightful phrase possible in the English language.

Doubly so because the people who use it don't realize they're less clever than everyone else.

The Right shouldn't shoot people for being different. But I can see how a fringe leftist position that has the potential to hurt some rich person's feelings is so much worse.

So, what I'm getting is, there's a party in your hotel room, and we're all invited!

If you look over my posts, you'll see this is a very low bar, and yet I block all the time.

Her child is dying and she's engaged in a fight on the side of evil, not against it. And the mindset of people who allow their children to die is actually very relevant to anyone who wants to keep children from dying.
