THEORY: The SCREAM 7 opening kill is Maureen Prescott in 1995, Sidney’s mom. It caused the series. All returning (dead) characters were present, it calls back to its roots, was conceived by its now director and sets up a story focusing on Sidney (sole survivor of the incident) - as a mom herself.

Because I showed them a certain Disney baseball movie this weekend, the kids keep asking about “ANGELS IN THE ‘GARFIELD’”. This tells me the word “outfield” is less at reach to them than the name of a lasagna-eating, Monday-hating orange cat…. or that they spent the movie waiting for him to show up.
