The thing is, they don’t even have to lay the mines. They just need to make people afraid that they might have and insurers will pull back.

The burden of proof is on the Americans to prove a negative.

Lewis Bollard
@Lewis_Bollard
Hidden on page 744 of the farm bill the House Agriculture Committee passed Thursday is a provision that would condemn millions of pigs to a lifetime in gestation crates.

Rebranded the 'Save Our Bacon Act,' it's a pork-industry play to wipe out every state law banning the sale of pork from crated pigs β€” laws the conservative Supreme Court upheld in 2023.

Over 85% of Democrats and Republicans oppose these crates. Voters have backed ballot measures to ban them in state after state.

The pork industry knows it can't win a straight vote on this. So it's burying the provision in an 800-page bill and hoping no one notices.

Contact your senators and representative today and tell them: oppose the farm bill unless the Save Our Bacon Act is stripped out. You can reach them at http://senate.gov and http://house.gov β€” it takes two minutes and it matters.

This is hideous and horrible, and the people pushing for it deserve to spend the rest of their lives in a cage.

The American Embassy is being evacuated in Riyadh because of sustained attacks by Iran against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
It is my understanding the Kingdom refuses to use their capable military as a part of an effort to end the barbaric and terrorist Iranian regime who has terrorized the region and killed
7 Americans.
Question - why should America do a defense agreement with a country like the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia that is unwilling to join a fight of mutual interest?
Americans are dying and the U.S. is spending billions to dislodge the terrorist Iranian regime that threatens the region.
Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia seems to be issuing statements and doing things in the background that are marginally helpful, but unwilling to participate in military operations to end the reign of terror coming out of Iran. Hopefully Gulf Cooperation Council countries will get more involved as this fight is in their backyard. If you are not willing to use your military now, when are you willing to use it?
Hopefully this changes soon. If not, consequences will follow.

1. Is Lindsey Graham the U.S. Secretary of State now?

Is he coordinating these threats against a U.S. ally with the White House?

Now he is demanding that a top U.S. ally enter a regime-change war?

And then threatening, β€œHopefully this changes soon… if not, consequences will follow.”

Regime Change Is Never Painless Donald Trump's war against Iran is the latest in a long line of American attempts to topple foreign regimes, all leaving have left in their wake.

COMMENTARY: America’s first foray into overthrowing a foreign leader began in Iran, and came with long-term and unexpected consequences. Trump’s new war will likely come with a heavy price.
