The times when it looked good was when I accidentally made it look right or passable without actually understanding why, thus my frustration about inconsistency

Now I'm knocking myself for not realizing this sooner but better late than never I suppose!

(The reason this wasn't happening for male bodies is because they got some junk that generally covers that part)

Basically, I had a slightly flawed understanding of form and anatomy around the very bottom part of the (specifically female) pelvis, and trying to draw it in a way to accommodate that would then cascade into fucked up hips and legs and waists, the whole shebang

However, there *was* one thing that kept looking weird and off, and it would just ruin the whole thing for me. It's the stupidest fucking thing too. One little inconsistency in specifically the anatomy of female bodies, MORE specifically in the pelvis/crotch area (which doesn't sound weird at all)

So to explain what's been happening for a good fucking while now. Basically, you're right, I do largely understand the human body and how it all looks and connects and the general shapes of it. I'm not one of those freaks who knows every individual muscle, but like, I get the gist of it all

So it's been like a day, I'm calm and can look at this in a better way. Thanks for talking to me. I'll say, though, I wasn't all wrong. There really was a gap in my knowledge that led to weird inconsistencies. I'll dump it on you bc I want to write it out as a way to sear my revelations into memory

How to not absolutely hate myself because I'm so bad at drawing every time I sit down to draw?

Like how do you even draw as long as me and still don't get how the fuck a human body is constructed??? I can't draw with any consistency AT ALL and it makes me want to just give up and cry

Oh it's a roguelite in the same vein as Vampire Survivors. You walk around a map getting weapons and items that upgrade as you kill enemies

It was really fun, but a lot of the writing was like the millennial redditor style like "borgar" "stonks" and "you ded maybe him skill issue?"

The entire internet before me is fucking loving Megabonk and here I am thinking it's just so cringe....

It might sound bad, but it's normal for people to want to receive to be able to give. And when there's noticeable decline in what you receive, your motivation to give also drops, but you still post in the hopes to get something yourself

Which leads to this "ghost town pretending to be alive"-effect

This kind of behavior (of which I am guilty) also leads to a feedback loop where no one within the group feels like they have the energy to react to and talk about others' art because they get nothing themselves
