The whole GenAI scene over here is a whole lot better than on Threads or Instagram. Which is to say-
They don't have as much of a foothold or traction here. Which is excellent*! The less AI chuds the better!

Failing that, talk to someone who did read it. I'm begging.
So deeply not kidding when I say that the current paradigm of "Gen AI" is doing deep, lasting harm to our ability to make knowledge, meaning, & truth w/ each other.
Like… it's really fucking us up & if we don't stop it soon we're gonna see a kind of negative chaos frankly unimaginable to most ppl 👍🏾

a gentle reminder that a chatbot does NOT have personality, identity, gender, volution, intentions, or feelings... it is a computer program that's extremely good at predicting the next word in a sequence based on previous words it has "seen"

Facebook's been using AI chatbots for over a year? What kind of dystopia are we in? Whatever it is, their metrics no longer matter if they can make fake users on demand. It is a zombie platform. And the human users that remain deserve better.
We need more teachers like this. Those who genuinely want to bring out the potential they see in their students. I'm glad you had such a role model.
