Neo-Soul because it is rich, soulful, and layered. It carries wisdom, depth, and authenticity, but itβs also smooth and versatile, able to set any mood. Like a timeless track, I carry both power and soulβ¦music that doesnβt just play, it stays.
Thatβs a loaded because every decade has its gems. But Iβd argue the 2010s could be considered the βworstβ musically. Not because there wasnβt talent, but because there was a heavy shift in the industry.
The 90s was the best decade of music. Hip-hop and R&B were in their golden era, pop was unstoppable, and MTV made videos an event. Those songs werenβt just hits, they were moments that weβre still vibinβ to today.
