I actually was curious about your feelings on it. I liked it a lot more than I thought I would. Having (one of) the same director was a great idea; it made it feel kinda like he was doing a second draft of something he loves.

I like to think so. I think people just appreciate how refreshing (and punkrock) it is to see kindness, joy, and hope on the big screen, kinda like the Paddington movies... Yep, Superman is America's Paddington.
