If only a college professor could condescendingly yell at her that AI is useful, I bet sheβd feel so much better about all this

βBut, as you see, it's a beautiful day, the Strait of Hormuz is open and people are having a wonderful time.β
Breaking news: A jury convicted people who protested outside an ICE facility in Texas of providing material support to terrorists, and other charges in a closely watched case in which the gov't argued the protesters were "Antifa". www.theguardian.com/us-news/2026...

If NATO countries conveniently forget how the war started.
Graph showing that the number of consumer complaints that credit bureau Experian closed with relief dropped significantly after Donald Trump's inauguration. The chart also shows the total complaints received has continued to rise over time. The x-axis shows year from 2021 to 2025 and the y-axis shows number of monthly complaints from 0 to 200K, with tick marks at increments of 50K.
Under Trump's CFPB, two of the three major credit bureaus have sharply reduced the share of complaints they resolved in customersβ favor.
In 2024, Experianβs relief rate was 20%. Last year, that figure fell to less than 1%: https://propub.li/3OY2qBw
CENTCOM says a US KC-135 refuelling aircraft went down with a crew of six in western Iraq.
Another KC-135 was hit and landed in Israel.
CENTCOM said the incident was not caused by hostile or friendly fire.
Rescue operations are ongoing.
"Top Trump officials acknowledged to lawmakers during recent classified briefings that they did not plan for the possibility of Iran closing the strait in response to strikes."

I'd like to hear him explain how exactly AI helps the working class?
By increasing competition for their jobs as the middle classes lose theirs?
By reducing their customer base as other people's savings are wiped out and their spending power is gone?
Make it make sense.
That is some slop.
In the last 24 hours, Iran has:
- Struck three ships trying to cross the Strait of Hormuz, disabling a Thai cargo ship
- Blown up a large oil storage facility in Oman
- Struck two oil tankers at harbor in Iraq, setting both ablaze.
- Blown up oil storage tanks next to Bahrainβs main airport
Iran has officially pulled out of the World Cup, stating that conditions in the US are not safe for players or fans.
More countries must follow suit.
The US will only respond to public pressure and financial retaliation.
Boycott the World Cup.
Boycott the Olympics.
Boycott America.
Also, again, Iran doesnβt have to interdict every ship. They just have to prove that you could be one of todayβs unlucky few for nobody to want to cross the strait
BREAKING: Brent crude oil jumps above $100 a barrel as Iran's attacks on shipping worsen supply concerns.
One of the things that really trips a lot of analysts, including ones with real skin in the game, is that they refuse - absolutely refuse - to accept how stupid Trump very obviously is. He has no knowledge of anything, is incapable of learning, and only remembers the last thing to happen to him.
I was in a 2 hour briefing today on the Iran War. All the briefings are closed, because Trump can't defend this war in public.
I obviously can't disclose classified info, but you deserve to know how incoherent and incomplete these war plans are.
1/ Here's what I can share:
Every time I read one of Trump's late night tweets I can't help but dream of an alternate reality where we taught critical thinking skills at school and he'd never been elected president.
This is plainly him trying to calm the markets.
You can only give asylum to people who ask for it.
So far 5 players are considering it www.bbc.com/news/article...
Trump needs to focus on his own mess.
Rabobank on the unfolding worst case scenario:
I think this is about the temperature but honestly it works for decades as well
Drains across the Iranian capital Tehran are continuing to explode after earlier Israeli and US strikes on oil depots and infrastructure.
Medical experts are warning the toxic smoke and runoff has increased the risk of deadly illnesses, including cancer.
All these Iranian monarchists who cheered on the bombing of our country, who got on bended knee for Lindsey Graham and Trump, keep asking me, βWhat if youβre wrong?β about my opposition to intervention and the disaster it could be.
I keep telling them I would be thrilled to be wrong.
If oil prices stay elevated, it will make it more expensive to build new homes.

We're in uncharted territory- if WTI crude holds these gains tomorrow- the current rise of 29.9% or $27.16/bbl would be its largest single day price jump- in both percent and amount- ever. Ever. EVER.
Do they realise they chose this yet?
Crude oil up 30% today
WTI crude oil now UP 25% tonight...
