So, why did Able find favor, but Cain did not?
Able sacrificed because of his love of God, whereas Cain sacrificed because of what he expected in return from God.
We are to love God because he first loved us, not because of what he can do for us.

No one turns to Christ by being told they are wrong, they turn to Christ by being shown that he is right.

Christ said that those who follow him will be persecuted in his name. (John 15)
Not unbelievers, but false Christians who choose Christianity for what it can do for them.
Christians who pray that their own will be done, and not truly that God's will be done.
Christians who don't know Christ.
Christ came to Earth to teach us that we are to treat each individual as they are. Created by a wonderful, loving God, and with a purpose.
Christ was all-inclusive and never turned his back on anyone, no matter how they treated him.
Christianity in America has lost its relationship with Christ.
Acts 4:32

If a Christian truly believed in God and the teachings of Christ, the state of this country wouldn't matter.
Their goal would be to spread the love that is Christ, and not the fear that is the world.
Christ knew he would be put to death, yet he still preached to love thy enemy.

I created this account to share my studies on Christ and who he is. I can only speak for religion in America, but Christ's teachings have been twisted and, in most cases, completely ignored.
Christ teaches love and compassion for all. Not hate and condemnation.

Christ is understanding of our circumstances and meets us where we are at.
An example of this is seen with Jesus' interaction with the woman at the well. Although he knew her past as well as her current situation, he still offered her Salvation.
