“JetBlue Airways has requested a ground stop at all destinations, the U.S Federal Aviation Administration said in an advisory on Tuesday, March 10.

The ground stop was issued at the airline's request, the FAA notice said, without adding further details.”

Someone asked my why I’ve never been to Key West and I said because the cheapest place I’ve been able to find so far is a hostel that’s about $100/night 😬 I don’t think Americans realise how expensive American travel is (or how inexpensive intl travel can be…)

Booked a night in New Jersey and the cheapest decent place I could find was $150 for the night. I spend about $150 a *week* on accommodation on most of my trips because the places I go actually have hostels. 😩

I have a lot of Iranian friends who are ecstatic about the strikes because they see the end of the regime. Can’t imagine what they’ve been through and their desperation so I’m not going to critique their opinion.

I honestly hope this is resolved quickly and that it ends well for them.
