βJetBlue Airways has requested a ground stop at all destinations, the U.S Federal Aviation Administration said in an advisory on Tuesday, March 10.
The ground stop was issued at the airline's request, the FAA notice said, without adding further details.β
A lot of my most popular posts are the ones I thought there was no audience for.
I showed this picture to my fireplace and now it has an inferiority complex.

Me on dates: "Did you know medieval people bathed, vikings didn't have horns on their helmets, Hugo Boss didn't design the Nazi uniforms, the beaked plague doctor mask didn't exist during the Black Death, Moors didn't introduce soap to Europe, Napoleon didn't shoot the nose..."
Someone asked my why Iβve never been to Key West and I said because the cheapest place Iβve been able to find so far is a hostel thatβs about $100/night π¬ I donβt think Americans realise how expensive American travel is (or how inexpensive intl travel can beβ¦)
Booked a night in New Jersey and the cheapest decent place I could find was $150 for the night. I spend about $150 a *week* on accommodation on most of my trips because the places I go actually have hostels. π©

NEWS: Americans were told to evacuate the Middle East β but the State Dept is not helping them do it.
We called the State hotline. First thing you hear is an automated message: "Do not rely on the U.S. government for assisted departure or evacuation."

Interesting because my momβs neighbor is MAGA military and posted βJesus is lord, thatβs all I have to say about thisβ on the 28th. My mom didnβt think it really made sense (not that they do anyway) but I wonder if it was a poke at this.

US citizens should βDEPART NOWβ from countries in the Middle East due to βSERIOUS SAFETY RISKSβ:
I have a lot of Iranian friends who are ecstatic about the strikes because they see the end of the regime. Canβt imagine what theyβve been through and their desperation so Iβm not going to critique their opinion.
I honestly hope this is resolved quickly and that it ends well for them.
