Thor’s Helmet (NGC 2359) is an emission nebula in the Canis Major region, visible only for a short period during the winter season. It also remains quite low on the horizon, right in the middle of the light-pollution belt. These are nearly 21 hours of integrated exposure. 🔭

I moved to Europe 3 months ago. Literally everything in Europe is better than America.
It makes me sad. Things in America could be just as good as Europe, if MAGA dumbfucks didn't hold us back, and we had more politicians like Bernie Sanders who actually care about making life better for everyone.

Intriguing sunset yesterday. The clouds look like mountains.
Ice covered rocks extend into the water from the sandy shore. Snow is still present in the crevices between the rocks. The sun is still below the horizon but the sky is bright gold in colour and the gold is reflected on the water. Two bare narrow trees are growing between the rocks.
