Strange as it may seem for the CEO of Fuels for Ireland to say, I lament the (near) wipe-out of the Green Party in #GE2024.
The Oireachtas, and Ireland, would benefit from the Green's focus on climate and environment.

I don't agree with @greenparty_ie on all issues or approaches, but they maintain sharp and relentless focus on the most important policy area and have been exceptionally successful in delivering their policy agenda.
The Oireachtas will be diminished by their absence.
Given Gerry Hutch has been issued a Garda Information Message to the effect that his life is under threat, what would the implications of him taking a seat in Dail Eireann be for Oireachtas security?
