They're here! check out this gorgeous cover! It feels lovely in the hands, too. You can pick up your copy of @pearlbear.com's new science fiction novella, The Artifact, from Echobird Press today!
i found it! thank you! i don't think I've ever even looked at that button ๐
i taught English 101 for a few years in grad school, and had the option to teach a film as part of it, so I taught Harold and Maude. it was avtreat to put it in front of so many who otherwise wouldn't have seen it!
that's even more exciting!
we had light rain on and off all day up here, then at 11pm, a giant hail downpour! the noise was incredible. fortunately it blew out as rapidly as it blew in.
i was able to get novavax last month, for which I am grateful. I'm seriously considering vaccine tourism to Mexico (which is driving distance from my house... assuming we can get back into the US afterwards) if we can't get them here this fall.
i don't know how to make gifs of things but, Harold and Maude. and of course The Princess Bride, and Labyrinth, though those are both as canonically GenX as Star Wars ๐
๐๐๐ so exciting! i really enjoyed the first novella and then couldn't make myself read more on a screen... it's a "me" issue, i just can't ebook. but paperbacks, now, that's very exciting! i will get them all!
this is exactly what publicizing the show feels like right now ๐คฆโโ๏ธ
I'm performing in this and i would LOVE to see you there!

plus, covid hoses the immune system, so if you've ever had it, you're more likely catch other illnesses easily and recover more slowly, and this gets worse with every reinfection

every move away from the giant spyware company is progress! it's such a project
you can disable the AI in gmail by turning off all the meddling "smart" features. that and Maps are the only ones i haven't quite gotten away from yet. switching to DuckDuckGo as a browser immediately removes a huge crust of AI garbage from your environment
we have de-googled our lives recently and it made AI go away almost entirely. with the notable exception of meta.
