Hey, ICE is kidnapping random citizens because they’re not white, but international players have visas so they’ll be OK.
Unless those players have literal armed escorts, I wouldn’t put much confidence in that stance.

I still find it odd that Columbia, Brown, Cornell, Penn, & Northwestern, which theoretically have some of the best law schools in the country, didn’t bother to use that legal acumen when they were asked to pay millions of dollars.
How good can you be at law when you can’t even defend yourself?
Imagine being able to take a train from NYC to Chicago in four hours. Or Houston to Atlanta. Or Denver to Dallas.
China is so far ahead of us in mass transit.
“Hegseth, who has a bachelors degree from Princeton University and a masters in public policy from Harvard…“
Should be the start of every article here. The guy in charge is fundamentally flawed and deeply trained by this wicked ideology.
I am still bitter that Food Network jacked up the price of oxtail.
If RFK jacks up the price of liver, ugh.
Also, nobody lives in the middle of the country. Land might be able to vote with the electoral college, but it can’t watch TV
Amongst other things, this again highlights the core point about due process. It’s bad enough to be in a “show me your papers” situation, but your precious citizen/non-citizen, “legal”/“illegal” distinctions are meaningless when you can’t prove anything to authorities because they don’t give a shit.
3 seconds into that scene, there would be a goddess “HIIIIII-YAAAAAAHH!!!”
There is only room for Miss Piggy to be the boss in any scene. 😂😂
How do even respond to this?
“I feel sorry for your illiteracy?”
“Touch some grass”
“You must be this tall to use AI”
Might as well be arguing with someone on an acid trip at that point; they’re not in reality anymore.
It’s wild to live in a time when neocon Bill Kristol is further left than Senate Minority Leader Chuck @schumer.senate.gov in defending democracy.
This would seem to effectively expand the category of people ICE can arrest without a warrant to “people not currently under arrest”
There is a long history of repressive governments working to shut down the academic practices that they fear: philosophy, astronomy, biological evolution.
Women’s studies is now part of that deep tradition.
Sure, and @usatoday.com, a mainstream 21st century American newspaper is getting criticism for writing headlines like an early 20th century German newspaper.
Everyone knows that kidnapping and abandoning children is wrong. This is a basic moral concept.

Oh yeah, this came out right after KFC’s Finger Lickin’ Good Dating Simulator
An interesting time for KFC when the marketing strategy was to be as horny as possible.

Manchin won a +30 R state and helped provide a majority leader. Sometimes you have to take half a loaf. I’m OK with compromising at that level.
But Sinema as a former Green Party member was the epitome of selling out values.
Perfect example of why Democrats lose. While Trump takes decisive action, Dems make the same posts that you & I make, perhaps followed up next week with a strongly worded resolution.
An actual opposition would shut everything down and make sure our military never goes through that again.
Breaking: President Trump pardons former Honduran President Juan Orlando Hernandez serving 45-year sentence on drug charges.
Is this… a Pride Missile?
And 100s of space nerds would buy anything being tossed out. A real “business friendly” government would know this.
I fervently wish that billionaires would compete with each other in building the best think tanks in the world rather than… whatever it is they do now.
To be fair, we’d all like to pursue our hobbies and have people want to give us a billion dollars to do it.
It’s just very vague.
Is a tangible ROI also positive? Is it part of the income statement? Does it guarantee that payback has occurred or that the cost of capital or internal rate of return or inflation are accounted for?
Even just saying “profitable” would have been clearer.
To be fair, it’s a poorly written survey as well, so it is not very clear how to answer some of these questions in a meaningful way.
For instance, not providing a meaningful financial hurdle for the return part of ROI is effectively meaningless. 1%? 1000? 🤷♂️
Trump didn’t defy political gravity; he just benchmarked it. His approval shows America’s acceptance of how he acts and what he does.
That’s not really a Trump measure as much as an honest measure of what the American people deem to be politically acceptable.
At the national level, Democratic leaders play like football coaches who always punt and are more concerned with looking bad than winning the game.
They’ve totally forgotten how to play offense, which is kind of a problem in a job where you have to win a majority of votes.
NDAs can’t be used to cover up criminal or illegal behavior.
But this could also be a matter of legal counsel providing guidance based on future activity or depositions.
There are all sorts of reasons to not answer in public.
AI models work well right out of the box. But if you add in a continuous flow of data that’s relevant to your business, you’ll be in very good (artificial) hands.

We used to have media where a mainstream circulation would react today with a straightforward headline like “Trump Feasts While America Starves” to sell papers or subscriptions.
But I guess that time is at an end and there is no mainstream newspaper revenue in criticizing the government.
