Well if you get to the point of wanting to try and remove it, the side locks will be unlockable so that will give you more space... if you breathe in well you can probably get nearly a full 1/2 rotation with the vice grips... if they actually grip that is. I'd test one on the bench first!!🤪

Quick swap the lock for a seal... you'll hold out a bit longer that way as you won't want to instantly waste the seal!!

There's quite a torque range on the ones im seing...
Not sure exact size, but prob one of these 2

M6 stainless.. 6-15Nm
M8 stainless.. 13-29Nm

They are not silly high torques, "IF" you can get a good grip on it with vice grips you should have the leverage to remove it.

You shouldn't do it, because its silly and irresponsible!!
When you can keep a sealed lock unchanged for many months... then consider the shear nut, but its still more fantasy than practicality..

But maybe yiu can file 2 flats on it first and you may be able to get it off... maybe..🤷‍♂️

Well im sure they manufacturer has published shears torque ratings for these nuts... just stop 10% short om the first tests
Im sure you want be unlucky enought to fall in the sub 10% tolerance band... probably!🤪
