Oh no they TOTALLY didn't communicate internally. If they did, KOF and FF/AOF wouldn't be separate universes, and the engines for each of their 4 series wouldn't have their own bizarre quirks hyperspecific to them

It's funny because I also think that MOTW did some things that would have been amazing in RB2 like better forward movement, just defend, throw techs, UOH, and guard breaks. Wish they had thought to add those sooner tbh lol

Never gotten into romhacking and I typically don't like making fan art/projects but I REALLY think Real Bout 2 deserves an overhaul romhack that rebalances the game and refines the system. That game is so insanely close to being perfect but it has some serious issues holding it back
