Been awhile since I posted here. Just wanted to update that my spouse furthered his education to get a human resources certification on top of business management and he starts a new job Monday!
AuDHD and epilepsy. Nothing typical in this melon.
The unknown is scary. We'll be okay. He's being headhunted by other companies and we're "comfortable" enough that he can take his time to find the best fit.
I just wish this wasn't happening.
He's become a well known member of the community. I'm proud of him and everything he's accomplished.
We met the kid we adopted through that company. J has bonded with someone he considers his sister. We have many we consider family.
A few weeks ago, my spouse was on a conference call to learn his company, the one he's been with over a decade, the one we thought he'd retire from, was shutting down. His last day will be soon. It's heartbreaking because he built a team that's become a family. His store is a part of our community.
