Ooh, have been looking forward to that for a long time - nobody makes textures like you, and you've put an insane amount of work into it. I know everyone in the Quake community appreciates everything you've done - hopefully you make oodles of dollars from the licensing, you definitely deserve it
I've been working on a huge collection of retro textures for Quake over the last 6 years. I think there's enough that indie devs could make whole games with them. however, many are not feature complete.
but I'm exhausted. I think it's time I stop putting it off and publish these to itchio

Probably "I No Longer Fear The Ranger Guarding My Heel." While it was essentially just a slightly sadistic shitpost that only took a week or so, using prototype textures was so relaxing. Texturing is my least favorite part of mapping by far, so just focusing on doing whatever was nice.

Meat Jam is now released! A community map jam for Quake 1, where participants had one month to create a level focusing on meat. Runs on the Quoth mod, which adds new enemies, weapons, and powerups
