Lol, well, yeah, so is yours. 😉
Have folks read Desmond? Its main character is a gay vampire and was written as a reaction to AR's TVC. www.amazon.com/Desmond-Nove...
I disagree, I like the changes, I think they work in this context. It is meant to be an adaptation of the TVC. I think the movie skipped a lot of the themes from the book, whereas the tv show is putting them front and center.
😍😍😍
I keep meaning to buy it. It was sooo good 🧡
It was my second time seeing them. The first time was back in 05, so I really wanted go to this one. 🧡
😂
Saw Nine Inch Nails last night at the Kia Forum in L.A. My hearing is still recovering 😂 Such a fucking good show. 🧡

Oh lordy....🫠
It's upsetting. Everyday Im like, what in the actual fuck?
One of my favorite episodes of Buffy. Fun fact, the actor that played Dracula also played as Vlad Dracula in a made for TV series, so the dude played Dracula twice!
What....in the actual f*ck? In their hotel rooms??
The Hunger by W Striebler, The Lesser Dead by C Buehlman, The Buffalo Hunter Hunter by SG Jones, and Children of the Night by DSimmons, off the top of my head :-)
IIRC, there's only one English translation. Its not easy to find, but I was able to find it in this compilation:
Yeah, that sucks. For me, I just can't pick up and leave yet. Otherwise, I'd have applied. (._.)
I love Dracula and Carmilla. Try reading the Family of the Vourdalak, written before those books, and is about a vampire that haunts a family.

I just had that happen to me, and I had to let the job go. I can't leave LA yet. The job was in Florence, Italy. Im still sad. 😭
Neither Charlie nor his memory should be honored, Governor. He was a vile, hateful man who encouraged violence towards others.
I can't wait 😍
FYI: After a successful premiere in France this summer, Vertical has acquired the North American rights to DRACULA: A LOVE TALE, with plans to release it next year.
Im not disputing that, but Dracula deals with repressed sexuality, and anxiety surrounding women and their own sexuality. Twilight, imo, suggests that women fight those urges and sexual temptations. SM is(was?) a Mormon and that comes through her writing.
I disagree. It's the whole underlying theme that sex is bad,and women should be obedient and celibrate. The exact opposite of Dracula. And Edward chasing a teenager was just icky.
Yeah, but Twilight isn't romantic. The books were poorly written, too. My opinion, of course, but I HATED them. *shrugs*
I finished Salem's Lot a few months ago and really enjoyed it. I think it's one of SK's better-written stories, start to finish.
I swear he's channeling Indiana Jones here 😄
Yep, theres a definite Robert Plant vibe goin there with Lestat. Thought that since S2.
