I’m enjoying my time with my family, wife and kids and no longer worrying about this.

I just realized I never updated my BlueSky. I am no longer admin of Nintendo Revised. I quit back in December. This is why I’ve been inactive here.

Just completed a test for Smushi Come Home by @somehumbleonion.bsky.social @mooneyestudios.bsky.social.
The test was done directly from the cartridge version 1.1.1 without patching the game.
It’s pretty much flawless with some minor minor issues.

Skyrim revision 003 has been found in both EUR and USA carts. (USA cart seems to be world edition).
Version on cart 1.1.392.392134.
This is the latest version of the game and is therefore, complete on cart. The game can be played entirely from cart without downloading anything!
This may be worth it for $19.93.
City and Knight are download codes but Asylum and its DLC are on cart. (Based on community reports) I’ve never played the game but for Asylum and DLC, this isn’t too bad.
This currently goes for $60 on the eshop or $40 retail (permanently reduced from $60)
I believe and fight for video game preservation.
Digital is not ownership. Digital is a license to use the game until the company decides.
Companies can take that right away at any time. We as a collective need to start understanding this reality.
I really really enjoyed this game. I played the game on switch with version 1.1.1 on cart and I did not download the patch to version 1.1.3. 100% the game including the DLC. The game is virtually flawless! Good job!

It’s too bad the physical version wasn’t delayed because the cart version is not good. Limited Run knew this and proceeded to release it anyways.
I have recently completed my test for Sonic X Shadow Generations for Nintendo Switch.
The test was done from the cartridge version (version 1.00) without any patches downloaded.

Not sure what I will play next…. But I have a lot to chose from.
I have my Wii U plugged in so that it hopefully continues to work for years to come. Leaving it unplugged for long periods of time could cause issues (so I’ve seen reports.)
With that said, I would take it out, clean it up and give it a whirl. I’m sure it would appreciate it! 👍🏽
Yeah it has become too much over there. I was being attacked by people that supposedly care about preservation merely because I buy switch games to test them out.
Let’s hope it’s a lot more relaxed here. 🤞🏽
