I don't think that's true. "Localized" doesn't mean small or rare. It just means that protests aren't well connected or centralized across communities. This century, Americans have protested much more frequently than a lot of other developed countries.
Trump isn’t that much of an outlier. Our society is littered with bosses that think whatever random idea pops in their head is gold. And they often get to do it anyway, consequences be damned.
I also think people sometimes confuse his cold observations with normative arguments. What some regard as Marx's capitalist boosterism is often just him saying "this is what capitalism is already doing and will keep doing."

No contortion necessary. The Israeli govt and supporters of Israel have actively spent years propping up Nazi sympathizers and global far right parties and have sought to redefine antisemitism to mean "opposition to Israel." A rise in actual antisemitism is a natural outcome of those actions.

A Jewish communal organization that really cared about fighting antisemitism would look at Zohran Mamdani and say, "He's much better at distinguishing between Jews and the state of Israel than many other critics of Israel." Instead, the ADL and AJC acted like he was the next coming of Karl Lueger.
But It's not "blaming the Jews" though. It's blaming Israel and its elected leaders. The whole point is that Israel doesn't speak for Jews, so when they perpetuate false claims of antisemitism to excuse a genocide, it makes it harder to fight actual antisemitism elsewhere.
