Before word processing, document length was bounded by the human capacity to copy long-form text and was plateauing.
After word processing, the tax & legal codes grew without check. And became incomprehensible to anyone but career experts.

And simply put, trans people should not be blocked from transitioning because of this small minority who wind up permanently regretting it. A group that, as this shit demonstrates, is immensely small.
To be savagely honest with you, if you transitioned for long enough for hormones to have permanent effects and/or had permanent surgery and then decided that was a mistake? That sucks, you have my condolences, but it is quite simply not my problem, or the problem of the broader community.
Like, you're not encountering hate from "the trans agenda" because you detransitioned. You're encountering it because you're using your experience to claim that legislation should be enacted that makes it harder for people to make their own choice.
The funny thing is I know multiple de-transitioners who are loved and respected within my communities. Trans people are all to happy to acknowledge and embrace the experience of de-transitioning after exploring it, as long as they don't weaponize it to claim trans people should be suppressed. 🤷

I wonder if this is at all related to kind of this preponderance of like tutorial as content culture. Like I say this as someone who loves tutorials and has benefited from them a lot. But it almost feels like a lot of people really want their specific favorite artists to create content tutorials
