The last few minutes of that Bam game were an absolute dumpster fire. Still amazing to see, though.

PlayStation 1, 2, and 3 game boxes. Resident Evil 6, Spider, MVP Baseball 2005, Kelly Slater's Pro Surfer, and Onimusha 2.
Recent additions. I'm beyond hyped for Spider and Onimusha. I felt like I needed to have RE6 available for when I want to complete my numbered Resident Evil experience. Also, peak surfing and sim baseball games.
My reaction 15 minutes into Inside.
A kid getting chased, strangled, and shot by adults in creepy masks. Infested pigs, mind control.
Is this more creepy than RE9?
(Reaction is just based on the vibes, the gameplay seems great so far)
Blast Corps! Love to see it!!
Having the urge to replay Resident Evil Requiem, either on casual to do a bunch of fun stuff or hard to clear the difficulty trophies. I rarely (never) immediately replay games.
But first, I'm going to take a quick detour to knock Inside off of my backlog.
Wave Race and OoT were definitely in contention for me!
QTP with your top N64 games!
Apocalypse on #PS1 was a great surprise. What initially looks like a generic third person shooter with Bruce Willis actually turns out to be a fun twin-stick shooter with Bruce Willis.
It is a fun way to spend a few hours.

Act Raiser 2 SNES cartridge. Label shows the back of an angel overlooking a city
Crossed Act Raiser 2 off of the backlog yesterday.
+ Looks great
+ Good music
- Drops what made the original unique
- Ridiculous difficulty with incredibly tight windows for avoiding boss attacks
This is a miss for me, I'll play Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts if I want a crazy difficult SNES action game.

A twin stick shooter starring Bruce Willis. Come for his quips, stick around for the fun gameplay. Solid, fluid, quick controls work well, with only the occasional platforming frustration.
A surprisingly good game, everyone calling this an overlooked gem was right.
+1 for Crash, he was my dude as a kid. I only tried the Spyro games more recently and they're great but Crash holds a special place for me as well.
I was in based on the visuals alone, it's great to hear there is more to it!
That's a good call, definitely up for knocking out some of the short ones. That's why I started Apocalypse last night.
Excited to try Black, as a big fan of the PS1 games, I'm looking forward to peak Twisted Metal, or so I hear
"Never" is a stretch as I have probably played 15-30 minutes of half of them. I consider them "unplayed" because I liked them enough to want to play more, but haven't.
I want to lower my backlog number this year, actually counting and listing them is a good first step
4x4 grid of video game covers. Mega Man Legends, Apocalypse, Tomb Raider 2, Rayman, Tenchu 2, Ape Escape 2 & 3, Musashi Samurai Legend, Twisted Metal Black, Dead Space 2, inFamous, Inside, Death Stranding 2, Final Fantasy II/IV, Zelda Echoes of Wisdom, Chicory

I went through my game list (I use GAME EYE) and found my true physical game backlog list.
I picked out the 16 I'm most excited about, also included the full list of 56 (!) games.
What should I be playing first??
PS1 game case. Half of Bruce Willis's face next to the game title and an explosion.
My entry for #RandomGameSaturday is Apocalypse for #PS1.
This is a twin stick shooter action game starring Bruce Willis. It features a song by System of the Down.
Really fun game early on.

Game title. Stylish.
Roll credits on Resident Evil Requiem #PS5
This plays out like Resident Evil Greatest Hits in many ways. Gives the scary, bullet-counting survival horror side and the shotgun blasting, over-the-top action side as well.
I'll sit on it a bit, but my instant reaction is that it's one of the best REs
Great series! Haven't done a rewatch yet but I'm sure I will at some point.
Alan Wake has bits of both.
I generally prefer the action side of the genre, myself.
Nearing the end of Resident Evil Requiem so now's a good time to rank my favorite survival horror games, RE9 not included:
1. The Last of Us Part II
2. Alan Wake II
3. Resident Evil 3 Nemesis
4. RE 4 Remake
5. Dead Space
6. Silent Hill 2 Remake
7. Resident Evil
8. RE7
9. RE8
10. RE2 Remake
It finally happened to me.
Three days ago a package I ordered was in North Carolina, about 2 hours away from my house. Yesterday it arrived at a sorting facility in Florida.
Great choice! It's fairly short too, it'll be a great time since you liked the original!
Ori 2 and Guacamelee 2 both sit in my top 5 Metroidvanias ever, so personally, I'd start with one of those!
Some absolute fire on this list. Good times are in your future!!
I bet there are a lot of people with that list!
My first pass at a list had 18 games. That's not bad! The list is practically done!
Only halfway done, but if I had to guess why RE9 is resonating so well with so many people, I'd say it's because it lets you have everything you could want out of an RE. Action, horror, bullet rationing, obtuse puzzles, escort missions, unkillable beasts, etc...
It's like a greatest hits collection
I was in that boat for a long time. Probably 20 years between playing RE2 and RE7 for me.
My PS5 says that I'm 57% of the way through Resident Evil Requiem.
My verdict so far: good game.
More highly detailed observations like this to come.
